Wrap a towel with cold ice for more than 20 minutes on the elbow. Do this three times a day. Ensure that you don’t place the ice directly on your skin.

Pain relief medications are also known to treat golfer’s elbow. For severe pain, you may need a steroid injection. Pain relievers should not be taken for more than 10 days. Instead get help from a professional acupuncture or a physical therapist. Extreme cases may require surgery. It is advisable you consult your doctor to identify the best form of treatment for you.

Also, make changes if the issues is due to your work environment. You can opt for a standing desk or a comfortable chair. Changing your posture will improve movement. Your doctor will recommend to you safe exercises. To reduce muscle strain, you can wear a brace. Identifying the symptoms will ensure you avoid golfer’s elbow.
